This temple was built in the 16th century which coincided with the construction of Tanah Lot temple which reminded us of the holy journey of a priest named Dang Hyang Niratha to Bali.
This temple is believed by Balinese people as a place to ask God so that the earth, air and sky will not be disturbed, which is the source of economic life for all life in this world.
Therefore, in the philosophy referred to, we must also preserve nature to become a vessel for our future generations.
