Petitenget Beach

Petitenget Beach is located in Seminyak, Bali. Visiting Petitenget beach in the evening, you can enjoy the sunset and during the day you get the choice to relax while sunbathing, or surfing. The name of this beach is taken from the name of the temple which stands in the area, named Pura Petitenget.

On weekdays, this place is visited by local residents who want to spend their time after the daily routine.  Those who come here can do variety of activities such as relaxed enjoying the view of the sea, swimming, playing football, etc.

In September 2018, at Petitenget Beach, a colossal dance was also held by thousands of dancers who broke the record of Muri (Indonesian World Record Museum) in the category of most dancers.

As many as 2,000 dancers performed the Tenun Dance on an area of ​​1.5 hectares. Before entering the stage location, 2,000 dancers who were all women gathered in the parking lot of Petitenget Temple. The dancers began to enter the stage location at 5:00 p.m. One by one the dancers who entered the stage location were counted by representatives from Muri.

In Petitenget Beach area, there are parking facilities, food and beverage stalls across the street, international restaurants, and shops.
