Pandawa Beach

Pandawa Beach is located in Kutuh Village, South Kutuh District, Badung.

This tourist spot in Bali used to be called Secret Beach because of its location behind a high limestone cliff, so not many people know of its existence.

This tourist spot is about 18 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport, but unfortunately there is no public transportation that passes this location. The most practical way is to use a private vehicle, taxi or by renting a car/motorcycle.

For accommodation, the nearest lodging is in the Nusa Dua area which is about 3 km from this tourist spot.

The name of this tourist spot is derived from the presence of five Pandawa statues, a legend in Hinduism, facing the beach. In the limestone cliffs, holes were made to place the five Pandawa statues, consisting of Yudistira, Bima, Arjuna and the twins Nakul - Sadewa.

This tourist spot, also called Kutuh Beach, has a beauty that is not inferior to other beaches in Bali. The white sand and turquoise water make it easy for anyone to enjoy it by sitting in a row of chaise lounges on this beach.

If Kuta Beach is known for its sunset views, then this east-facing beach has a reliable sunrise view. Not infrequently, from here you can see tourists paragliding from Bukit Timbis (Timbis Hill) flying over the beach. [ED/AY]
