Walter Spies

Walter Spies is a German art painter who lived in Bali. R&W publish a XL format book that consist most of the artist's work during his lifetime both while he was in Europe and in Indonesia.

R&W wanted a video presentation to accompany their presentation in selling the book.

And previously in Iseh Village,

Walter Spies with his friend named Theo Meier from Switzerland. They spend their lives socializing with local people and getting to know more about their customs and culture.

And visit museums in Bali that displays paintings by Walter Spies, a German artist who lived and worked in Bali in the 1930s.

Walter Spies Art Collection

• Kecak was created in the 1930s by Wayan Limbak who worked with German art painters named Walter Spies with based on the Sanghyang dance tradition as a fire dance and parts of the Ramayana story.
