Taman Ayun Temple is located in South Bali approximately 18km from Denpasar. Taman Ayun Temple, which was founded by Mengwi King I Gusti Agung Putu in 1634, is a special temple for the ancestors of the Mengwi King Dynasty.

Taman Ayun Temple is indeed one of Bali's tourism icons because of its beauty as its name means temple in a beautiful garden.

In this beautiful place, you will see a pond full of lotus flowers surrounding the temple, making the atmosphere look like a temple on the water.

The main attraction of this temple is of course the beauty of the Meru or temple temple temple. The temple building is shaped like a pagoda

The roof overlaps up to eleven heights which in Bali is commonly called meru, the roofing material is made of palm fiber taken from palm trees. This meru is located in the innermost area of the temple. There are several towering meru here that add to the beauty of the temple.

Outside the temple there is a small bridge leading to the center of the temple.

First you will pass through Candi Bentar which is the main gate. In the center you will find a hall-like building called Wantilan which serves as a meeting place. There is also Bale Kulkul or an interesting place that is used as a communication tool.

In addition, there are also gardens that are very beautifully arranged with a variety of green tropical plants that are very beautiful to look at.
