Goa Gajah

Goa Gajah, the Elephant Cave in Ubud, Bali has a very interesting beauty to visit.

Arrive at  Goa Gajah, from the parking area, we will go down the stairs to Goa Gajah Temple.

Arriving at the bottom, you will hear the sound of water flowing from the fountain statues. 

The rocks of the former building that was destroyed by the earthquake were also found around the shower. While Goa Gajah Ubud itself, is located not far from the fountain statue. 


The cave entrance is only enough for 1 person.

Outside, there are carvings and 2 guard statues. Inside the cave, it is in the shape of a T, about 2 meters high and 2 meters wide.

In the left and right parts of the aisle also have niches which may have been meditating in ancient times. But now tourists can sit or lie there.

The place is surrounded by shady green trees, so the atmosphere is very cool and beautiful.

According to officers guarding this attraction, the trees are hundreds of years old. The Goa Gajah complex can be seen from the stairs.
